Restaurant Au Cygne

I spent the week there for work, it's a very beautiful establishment, the welcome is perfect, simple but warm! The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. I took the evening stopover, the dishes offered at the restaurant were all very good, the service perfect! In short, I can only recommend it! It's a magnificent place 🤩 and I will come back the next time I stay in Strasbourg!

I just regretted that the restaurant was closed the night I was there.

In my opinion the hotel is overpriced, considering the condition of the room (dated), and the service (absolutely not the fault of the staff). Upon arrival there is no staff. In the room only 1 large and 1 small towel, 1 cup in the bathroom, while we were with 2 people. In itself not bad, but I find the price high.

Evening stopover commercial trip for 120€ + 1 ricard for 6€!!! No receptionist, impossible to communicate, rooms with bathroom and toilet upstairs, atypical but impractical. Comfortable mattress, no air conditioning or fan in the room. Canteen type daily menu of poor quality, tasteless sauce, overcooked fish and ratatouille. Breakfast was very good. Disappointed with this discovery, however, the potential is great but we should avoid counting our money too much and please our customers in order to build their loyalty.

Expensive for quality and condition of rooms. No secure parking for bikes (outside in rain). No a/c and not possible to open windows due to mosquitoes out back.

The room was a bit plain; there was only one chair for two people and little space to put clothes. There was only a thick blackout curtain at the window. If you pulled it back, you could see into the room. So you only had two options: either to allow full visibility or to be in the dark during the day. Despite several attempts, the authentication for the WiFi didn't work; but we didn't need it. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful and helped with advice on how to get to Strasbourg using public transport.

Good location

Arrival at 6:30 p.m. and no one to welcome, just the keys with a note placed on the counter. Large and comfortable room but problems with a lamp. The staff came to resolve the problem. In the restaurant (as in the rooms) it's extremely cold. After questioning the people in the room, the boiler is broken but will be repaired within the hour. It's not your fault but it would have been correct to inform the customers when they arrived... In the room the staff seems overwhelmed and lacks professionalism for a hotel *** Very quiet and comfortable night nothing to complain about say again. At 119€ per evening stopover in a 3 star hotel, I thought I would be received with more professionalism (even received at all given the absence behind the counter)

PERFECT

Having booked online in the afternoon, I showed up at this hotel in the evening. There was no longer anyone at reception. Only the adjoining restaurant was in service. After 15 minutes of waiting, an extra who was in charge of catering ended up telling me that there were no more rooms available. He calls his manager, who 10 minutes later offers me a room in another hotel 15 minutes away. So I cannot comment on this hotel. However, I am still waiting for apologies or regrets for this inconvenience. The extra told me that this kind of situation happens from time to time...

My stay at this hotel was excellent and allowed me to relax after a long train journey. Nothing better than an evening stopover for short business trips. Absolutely preferred.

We have been guests at this hotel in September for several years and we can experience everything with a lot of hospitality from reception to departure. The kitchen serves sophisticated dishes in the evening or for breakfast. The wines are selected and if the staff has some time, you can even chat about this and that. Thanks again at this point.

Restaurant closed on Sunday evening, no breakfast on Monday morning. Information by email only on Saturday. Restaurant and breakfast recommendation very poor. Room facing the garden - means bicycle parking and high hedge facing the neighbor.- No departure formalities, no staff on site. Key on the counter and goodbye.

It's all ok. Gladly again. :)

Very nice hotel, clean, nice decor, breakfast is a bit expensive (14€ / person) the cleaning ladies who come into the room at 9:40 a.m. it's not great since you can leave the room at noon, the soap dispenser in the shower was defective you had to press 3 times to get a few drops, otherwise it's not bad

Perfect for our bike ride between Alsace and Germany. Only disappointment, the restaurant was closed, and it was part of our selection criteria for this hotel.
