Pleasant welcome, generous meal and very good, comfortable and clean hotel.

If the hotel and especially the rooms are very good, clean and comfortable, and the restaurant offers a quality menu, the welcome by the manager was not very friendly and unpleasant... End of season fatigue?

We really enjoyed our stay. Both for the welcome and for the services, excellent meals and perfect accommodation. We will gladly return when we can.

Very expensive for a ridiculous room on a floor without an elevator, not air-conditioned, with a damaged mosquito net. Disappointing soup of the day, only chickpeas... Conclusion: go your own way. Much better elsewhere

Only drawback was the bathroom not separated with the room by a door, but a thin glassdoor.

Dinner was very good. Not so nice that the bathroom didn't have any windows and there was an opening of 20cm above the door in order to ventilate the room. Not so nice when someone is going to the toilet.

Very very pleasant stay, the owners are exceptional people as you find more, close to their customers. A big congratulations to the chef for his excellent cooking and without forgetting Madame who is fantastic.

We booked through Booking.com for a country hotel/restaurant/bar. We arrived at 13:00hrs and asked for lunch while we waited for the room to be ready but the bar and restaurant were closed because it was the owners' "day off". The nearest alternative eating places were 4 kms away and after a hurried lunch there we decided that this was not what we had expected so left.
The owner reported it to Booking.com as a "No Show". That was a lie. The whole experience was unpleasant with an arrogant owner that seems to think it is normal for him to have a day off with guests in the hotel and unable to eat or drink there. One of the worst experiences we have ever had in misrepresentative hotel bookings.

Small but comfortable room, very comfortable mattress and pillows too, with free parking, restaurant bar, breakfast not very varied but correct, very good staff attention, very clean, there is no elevator. Correct price quality.

good overall but meals at 8 p.m. max while on Logis de France it is noted at 8:30 p.m. max. to correct. it's a brake. good meal (not for all budgets) and decent breakfast.

The Hotel is subject to incorrect conditions. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, selbst unser Hund tat sich manchmal schwer, sich zu drehen. Also the Möbilisierung lässt zu wünschen übrig, der Chef sehr unfreundlich und disinterested, von der Reinlichkeit der Küche, in der ich zufällig nach dem Chef am Morgen suchte, jenseits aller Vorstellung.

Excellent attention Warm and cozy Exquisite regional breakfast

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Xoko-Goxoa. It was my first visit to the Basque Country, but possibly my second if you include the trip to Bilboa, and the area more than met my expectations. This hotel was perhaps the friendliest and most welcoming of any I have stayed at so far. Everything was clean and well maintained, the room was basic but more than adequate and the bed very comfortable which, given that I had spent my days hiking and was tired in the evenings, was very nice to have. I ate in the restaurant on three evenings and enjoyed all the dishes - the seared foie gras and the lamb being particularly good. I look forward to returning to the hotel and the area in the future.
