New management that has difficulty taking initiatives in the event of a problem in its Logis de France establishment; if there is a problem in a room, which was the case for me, it is managed as a service of a Formula 1 or other hotel charged at a lower price. I have been a Logis customer for more than 10 years because I trust the attention they pay to selecting their hotels and managers. The first big mistake for this Argonay 74 hotel that I have been going to for 9 years. Little recognition of loyalty from the current manager, which is a shame. I do not want a commercial gesture the next time I come, but rather on the very day of the stay when I have a big problem: problem with a locked door in the bathroom when I get up, wasting an hour of time and breakfast, having a bowl of tea, a bit expensive, lunch charged! For your information, I had paid the day before, never to be done.

Hotel whose strong points are the welcome and the catering. Thank you for accepting a payment method without credit card and for facilitating my stay. The common areas are neat and tastefully decorated. The restaurant offers a very attractive formula, with a very good quality of service and presentation. My room was properly equipped despite a bathroom in its original state and obsolete.

Overall pleasant hotel and good food. But a downside on the old-fashioned rooms (light bulbs and bedside lampshades "tired"), continuous background noise, shower water temperature not very stable.

The person at reception is very friendly But the value for money is very disappointing Not even a small bottle of water for €126 Only one light bulb out of 3 in the bathroom The setting and the view are magnificent but that is not enough Breakfast €14.50 although very basic (unripe kiwis)

For an evening stopover, this hotel is perfect for a stopover in Annecy and very close to the city center. The catering is of a high level of quality and technicality. I come here regularly and the quality is always there. I recommend it for business and tourism because the view is magnificent.

Only air conditioning during this very hot period would have made this stay more pleasant and a renovated bathroom, even if it was just a special white paint on these horrible tiles from the 70s/80s.

Good overall assessment. Special mention for the bathroom in room 101, which needs a major refresh. Outdated decoration, insufficient lighting, the system against the wall requires you to press yourself against the shower screen. It would be better to install it on the small side of the bathtub. The taps could do with a revision.

Did not receive the rooms booked 6 months in advance, unfriendly staff, lack of communication, faulty air conditioning, old and faulty bathroom (tap) broken bulb, hotel closed from Sunday 11am until Monday 7am! Impossible to reach anyone at the hotel! First and last stay in this establishment

It is with great pleasure that we welcomed you to our establishment. There was indeed a small error on one of the three rooms reserved by your family, a problem that was quickly resolved so that you could have the room you had initially reserved.
Regarding reception hours, the latter closes on Sunday at noon and reopens on Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. However, it can still be reached by telephone 24 hours a day at the number indicated on the hotel's entrance door.
We were open this Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. since we met and your dad was able to pay for your stay at 8:15 p.m.

A new team compared to our visit last year. And it is great, incredibly professional, extremely kind and friendly, which doesn't hurt. Very good food. Perfect menu for non-fussy eaters, a little more complicated for those with allergies or who don't eat meat and fish. But that's a detail. We will be back, that's for sure! this hotel is located near the Argonay clinic which is very practical. My husband had surgery for three days and I was nearby. There is also a bus line that goes to the center of Annecy. The hotel is super quiet.

The markings for the places in front of the hotel are missing. A small table in the bathroom to place some things and beauty cases and more powerful lighting would be ideal. Otherwise, we had a good night's sleep and the bed was comfortable.
The Auberge in Argonay Chef-Lieu is ideally located, indeed with a breathtaking view of the mountains, located in the countryside and therefore quiet. That suits me. The hotel reception contacted me when I was on the road before my arrival by telephone, to ask me if I would like breakfast, which I found relevant and friendly. I say thank you for the kindness. In April 2024 I stayed in a spacious room with bathroom, impeccable cleanliness. Parking in front of the hostel for 4 spaces, in addition there is free parking nearby just 10 meters away. Pleasant breakfast. I didn't eat at the restaurant, didn't have the opportunity. The only complaint is the noise that the guests make when opening and closing the doors, because there is an echo like in a sound box, I think it is the construction of an old building. Finally, I would like to thank the efficient, friendly, caring and smiling staff. MKN 240412

Spacious and clean room, friendly and welcoming staff (with a touch of humor!), very good quality restaurant. Small downside for breakfast (we expect more local and "better quality" products given the quality of the dinner the day before).

We had a lovely one night stay on the way to the Alps, it made an ideal overnight stop. The staff could not have been friendlier and the food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent. I would highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you

Pleasant getaway in this charming hotel near Annecy on the occasion of the Christmas market, friendly welcome with ideas for visits (Christmas market at the Château de Menhon-Saint-Bernard), pleasant breakfast facing the sunrise on Annecy, we will come back to enjoy lunch or dinner on the terrace. Excellent accommodation in a site near Annecy, with easy and free parking. A very nice breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff. My only regret is not having been able to try the table of this hotel restaurant which I was told was very good given that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings

2 nights in a 1st floor balcony room! beautiful spacious room air conditioning good ventilation through windows and bay windows impeccable and comfortable bedding! old but correct bathroom! 1 night in a room on the 2nd floor, extension of an additional night! pleasant room ventilation window under roof ventilator! A good stay with staff who take care of customers, clean and functional rooms, top-notch breakfast and evening meal catering, only downside is the lack of air conditioning in some rooms (during heat waves).
A very pleasant place, very well located, spacious rooms (I recommend the balcony option with a view of the mountain) a large terrace with an unobstructed view, attentive staff; a restaurant with a very nice menu and especially dishes made with local products (do not miss the perch fillets which are just divine) What more can I say? Very good establishment, friendly, welcoming staff. This is my 2nd stay in the establishment and I was able to eat at the restaurant which was closed during my first stay and it is excellent. I highly recommend !

View the hotel's answerCourteous and pragmatic welcome. Private car park = only 3 places, on the road and accessible by any local resident. The vehicles are absolutely not secure, but the places are free. The hotel is of good quality but not its clientele. Certainly anecdotal, but our stay benefited from the indelicacy of a neighboring room, welcoming in the middle of the night (5 a.m.), 4 people arrested in the street and giving them access, in this hotel, without any video surveillance or security, finding themselves thus to 6 people and the leisure to wander in the hotel, to sound the beginning of the morning and to decorate us with medicinal scents. Our repetitive phone calls requesting intervention from the establishment got echoed at 8am. But not to reassure us, but to remind us that we had left the hotel without paying for our night. After long telephone palavers to justify our good faith, an apology was presented to us and a discount of 10% taken from authority. This experience would certainly have deserved that we call the police for night intervention, we preferred to leave the establishment, to shorten our stay in Annecy. Unfortunately, we will keep a bad memory of this experience, of this establishment which obviously does not have the means and the capacity to choose its customers. Despite a remarkable value for money €141 / 6 = €23.5 per person.
