Very pleasant stay with very friendly, smiling, available and attentive staff. Remarkable bedding, and generous and refined meals. A few small remarks, however, to improve the next stay even more: the edge of the pool is dirty and the shower does not work, you have to hold the button, the toilets on the ground floor are old and it would be good to put towel dryers in the bathroom (even if the cleaning lady changes them if they are wet) and the hair dryer button does not hold in the bathroom (that is to say, you have to have your finger on it all the time) and at the pool (I may not have found the correct operation)

We really enjoyed our stay at the estate, the only drawback was that we could hear all our neighbors' conversations through the door separating the rooms. There is very poor soundproofing between the rooms, which is very annoying from a privacy point of view but also in terms of tranquility. A special thank you to the people who welcomed us into the restaurant.

I posted a lot of photos and a positive review on Google but when I left I was surprised to see a bill that did not correspond to my stay. Breakfasts were billed when not taken and an error on the price of my 50cl bottle of wine displayed on the menu at €20 and billed at €40!!!! The breakfasts were refunded to us in cash because my wife realized it. On the other hand, for the wine we were already on the road. From the reception, you are very well received and it is the same in the restaurant., the latter orchestrated by the maitre d'hôtel Fabien always kind and considerate leaving a great flexibility in the choice of dishes, we eat very well there. The hotel is very well kept, the rooms are large and clean as well as the bathroom. The park is magnificent as well as the indoor swimming pool. A "family" spirit reigns in this establishment thanks to its director always present and available. A little extra, note that dogs are accepted there. I recommend this establishment, it is worth the detour.

Excellent two-day stay as a couple in a superior room. Quiet. Very clean. The establishment is located in the middle of a beautiful park. Daily cleaning. Real heated indoor swimming pool and hammam with bathrobes available. Impeccable cleanliness. Billiards and table football. Very good restaurant with very warm welcome from attentive, smiling and friendly staff. A menu per season and a daily menu at 30 euros available for lunch and dinner. All excellent with a small downside on the desserts. Correct breakfast in the form of an all-you-can-eat sweet and savory buffet with a restocking that can sometimes be a little lacking in reactivity depending on your arrival time. The departure formalities are carried out in complete transparency and honesty. Please note... holiday vouchers are accepted up to half the total amount of the stay. Very professional establishment to recommend without hesitation.

Lovely hotel and setting. Great views from room and dining room. Large car park. Very poor wifi in room preventing us planning our onward route. Very good dinner although my pommes dauphinoises never appeared - why? And then told it would take 30 mins to get them! Nevertheless very good wine and overall experience. Horrible! As a traveler, I spend 4 nights a week in hotels. Logis de Fompeyre is undoubtedly among the top three worst hotels. This is the first time that I have not managed to sleep and rest because of the sustained noise from the restaurant located under the hotel part. In addition, the rooms are very small, the bedding is bad, the wifi is non-existent…. And all this for the modest sum of €125!!
We came for a wedding, we spent two nights at the Domaine de Fompeyre. We were very well received, in a room for 3 people which was spacious, with a very nice shower. The environment is very calm, the hotel is very easy to find from the motorway. We had dinner there the first evening and it was perfect, thanks to a menu based on local products (Bazadaise breed meat, local wines) and a very charming and helpful staff. We will come back with pleasure and we recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Room 114 a little small
To improve your comfort during your next stay, do not hesitate to book our Privilege or Prestige rooms, which are much more spacious.
It was a pity that we could not book into the restaurant as it was already full. But hotel was in a great location and nice setting. Bathroom - the bath had a little mould around the sealant which was a shame.
sorry if we couldn't welcome you in our restaurant? It is preferable to book in advance during summer. Regarding the bathroom, we will manage this during winter as we need to replace seal, as the mould is inside.

The welcome on departure was not very warm (unlike the one on our arrival) We were very disappointed by the quality of the breakfast (cold pancakes and muffins, no more eggs and no possibility of ordering any because we arrived at 9:30) From 9:50, the waiter began to tidy up the entire room without worrying about the noise he made by pulling the table and chairs onto the floor: very unpleasant for customers for a moment that is supposed to be calm, at breakfast A breakfast service that closes at 10 a.m. on a Sunday is too early; For traveling a lot, most of your hotel colleagues stop service at 11 a.m. We were billed for 4 breakfasts instead of 2. I apologized for the error and the difference was refunded to us but the restaurant reception incorrectly noted the number on the room
Staff extremely welcoming, food exceptional. Dogs were welcome in the bedrooms but not elsewhere, which was a little difficult but we put them in the car whilst in the bar and dining room. We will definitely stay here again, lovely surroundings and pool areas.

The hotel is well located and has a very pleasant setting. It is equipped with two swimming pools and a games room. The positive points: - The room is clean - The bedding is comfortable but you can feel the separation between the two mattresses... - The restaurant is good with efficient service - Effective air conditioning in the room The negative points: - Breakfast: very expensive for what it is. We did not go back the 2nd morning because we were so disappointed the day before. - Soundproofing: you can hear the neighbors Another point to emphasize: when we left we indicated that we were disappointed with the breakfast. Without us asking for anything, it was removed from the bill. Bravo to the hotel for this initiative.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful domain and offers nice rooms. Having an outside ans inside pool with a hammam was also a plus. Located just next to the old town of Bazas at walking distance was also great. But the hotel could be even better when there some work put into the cleaning, painting and renovating of the buildings and the surroundings.

The main attraction of this hotel for us was the swimming pool. What was our surprise when we were told that it was not accessible because we had to check the chlorine level and that the landscaper was working around the pool: a Saturday, June 8! We wanted to go to the indoor swimming pool and there: a few deckchairs fighting a duel so more space. The icing on the cake: the meal offered to us (because it was a box) was really very basic! As a result we left the same afternoon…

We were offered a smartbox and we chose this place. I was afraid of having a slightly less quality treatment, but not at all. The staff takes great care. We took advantage of the swimming pool and hammam. We were able to change the menu, without any problem, which was included in the smartbox to choose à la carte and we of course paid the extra. The place is very pleasant and we visited Bazas which is a very pretty town. We will return there with pleasure.

It is not a 3-course meal and in fact it is the daily menu without any choice (1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert). Very pleasant stay at Domaine de Fompeyre. The indoor swimming pool and hammam are very pleasant, especially when they are not very busy. The overall staff of the estate are very professional and attentive in all circumstances (pregnant, they did not hesitate to adapt the menu for me). The room is good. The only downside is a permanent ventilation noise in the room (excluding heating/air conditioning) which annoys light sleepers. But we will come back in good weather!

Experience following a Smartbox gift offered, we were delighted with this establishment although in the middle of bad weather. From the welcome by the hostess, the quality of the room, the pleasure of the indoor swimming pool at 30°, the aperitif at the bar before dinner then the breakfast in the morning... everything was impeccable. Thank you to all the competent staff in their field and for their kindness. Only one downside... the dauphine potatoes then the Kouign-amann for dessert in the menu offered by this "box" were a little heavy to digest in the evening. But we will probably come back :) ;)

We spent 1 night in this area. More. : the ladies at reception are very helpful, the swimming pool is really warm and open late, the buffet breakfast is very good and complete. Cons: small superior room and average decor, average soundproofing (we could hear the neighbor coughing). And although we had been warned in advance that our two small dogs were prohibited from entering the restaurant, we wanted to go for a drink at the bar and there too, they were prohibited. However, we are used to hotels and restaurants and it is a shame this policy. On the other hand, they were each charged 8 euros per night!! And are better behaved than the children who scream in the swimming pool and who spoil our pleasure of relaxing. So average experience.

We should just eat elsewhere. The lady at reception was absolutely not customer friendly and not service oriented. Again, our mistake, but the lady at reception stood her ground. We had dinner in the village at INDIGO restaurant and probably had an even better and more enjoyable meal there. Will definitely come back here but then eat at Indigo again!

Time was suspended for us! For a bucolic romantic stay, I recommend! The staff is very welcoming, sunny, smiling and caring! The icing on the cake, despite returning our room at 11 a.m., we were able to enjoy access to the swimming pools and the spa for a good part of the day!

We had an excellent stay, with much appreciated little attentions for our young child, we advise future visitors to take a moment for a drink on the terrace and or to settle down comfortably for an evening meal.

Very nice stay, but there is no real vegetarian dish offered on the restaurant menu apart from a plate of vegetables. Same for the appetizer no question is asked to adapt.
Idyllic setting, Haven of peace, staff at the top..! And quality catering we will come back out of season to taste another atmosphere...!

Just on top 👌 Nothing to complain about really. Very nice establishment, well maintained, with a beautiful park and plenty of parking spaces. 7 minutes walk from the center of the village and close to road access, it is ideal for visiting the region. Good smiling and available team. Very good table. The only downside is that you can't smoke on the terrace at the table, but only in the garden furniture. We came from Corsica to look for our cocker spaniel puppy and we will come back with great pleasure to visit the Bordeaux region and its surroundings.

Charming hotel, by its exteriors (terrace, park...), if not by the decoration of the rooms (which remains, in comparison, rather banal and impersonal). This would be the only downside because otherwise, the bedding is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the establishment has many advantages: location (a few minutes walk from the center of Bazas), private parking, a heated indoor swimming pool just what you need, in a very pleasant room and an outdoor swimming pool for the bravest, billiards (French, American), a restaurant which offers a great variety of dishes. In short, excellent value for money and a much appreciated experience...

I spent one night as a stopover. The setting is magnificent, the hotel is of high quality, the large car park is very practical, the swimming pools are very pleasant, the catering is correct despite a somewhat disjointed service. The servers are a bit too much (a bit too manners but some customers may like then ...?). Congratulations to you because I have already come and I have been able to note progress. promising in pictures but not up to a 3 star. pleasant staff but not always at the level. My impression remains very mixed for the hotel. On the other hand, what ruined everything for me was the restaurant. We made our choices à la carte: grilled beef (in the country of the "Bazadaise") a sad, banal plate without flavor despite quality meat. my dessert: meringue which had to break everything. banal, sad, and without finesse. The dessert of my wife ditto. unremarkable in taste and presentation. Our dinner ruined the evening. all these disappointments in a beautiful setting, two beautiful swimming pools with friendly people .... it's a shame.

pity that there is only one dish offered for a menu offered with Wonderbox and that it is steak tartare. For me, raw meat does not work. I was able to have a well-done burger with an egg on it. But it is true that I was expecting a different main course.
Very warm welcome, very clean but tiny room! at the restaurant, set menu, no choice of dishes, I took a glass of St Emilion grand cru which must have been an ordinary Bordeaux because it was served in the kitchen!! and cooked and recooked fries, really a very average meal!

We were very well received. All of the staff were caring and helpful. The room and the facilities such as the swimming pool are of good quality. We were welcomed with a bathrobe each, and a small gift for our 5 year old daughter. We will definitely go back outside of our Smartbox! The buffet breakfast was correct, there was a choice and the food was relatively high quality. Regarding the restaurant, friendly team but meal that is absolutely not worth its price... Very average quality of products, preparation also. This is the only place we will not return to.
