Quiet, relaxing and pleasant stay. All the staff were available and attentive. The cottages were not very busy during our stay, allowing us to use the facilities (fitness room and swimming pool) almost exclusively! Forest nearby for beautiful walks. Three exotic days with the 2 children! The fridge is missing a freezer, it's a shame there is no oven either, but that doesn't detract from the stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Logis Auberge de la Foret. It is a beautiful hotel easily accessible from the motorway down south. The hosts made us feel very welcome. The hotel and room are very clean. The room although quite small had everything that one would need. The dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

We found a slight smell of gas in the living room. The team is aware of this.

Positive: Quiet and comfortable establishment. Very beautiful and tastefully decorated. Very pleasant and very clean room (like the whole establishment). Very pleasant swimming pool. Restaurant and its service of very good quality and at a reasonable price. Negative: Reception not up to the standard of the establishment (cold welcome, without a smile, without a hello, waiting while a young man was available, very limited correction of the young girl, and forgetting to inform us that the room number was written in the decoration. It took us a while to find it... (very nice originality however)). Mixed swimming pool changing room with no possible privacy... (Average experience because a couple and their children seemed to believe that the swimming pool belonged to them. Customers with little respect for others... Thoughts and tension exchanged... (But this is not your fault of course. Just for information.) Prices of bar snacks (coffees, chocolate, standard drinks) very (too) high.

Soothing, revitalizing setting. Top-notch accommodation, very good quality bedding and enjoying the swimming pool is the icing on the cake!

Excellent dinner and breakfast

Someone put a lot of expertise into designing this hotel, the rooms, restaurant and communal area/lounge all bear the hallmark of someone with design flair. Its position on a quiet road at the edge of the village of Le Gavre, with direct access to the forest paths makes a peaceful & scenic location. Their staff are helpful & attentive, the restaurant provided top quality food and the rooms are both attractive and comfortable. We would have liked to have been able to make a cup of tea/coffee in the room but this is my only minor criticism. The location is also ideal time wise when travelling to or from Cherbourg for the ferry and less than 10mins off the N137 Rennes to Nantes route.

I recommend this establishment, I usually go there for work, everything is perfect room and meals, I recommend the stopover evening which will surprise you with the quality of the products and the quality of the production. Young boss and his very nice team. At the top

Cottage was v clean although less spacios and more basic [but cheaper!] than one we hired nr Royan last September. Surprised to find that "2 bathrooms" meant only one toilet. staff were pleasant and friendly but more are needed to properly run the restaurant at busy times.

Nothing to complain about, the room is very good, it's very quiet for resting. The restaurant is very good and the services are very good

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. We recommend this stay.

A promising presentation which was not quite delivered by the experience. Immediately concerning was the bottle of champagne in the room which had not been ordered despite being told by reception to which I returned despite being told by same that it was ‘prevu’. It was not. The room itself was ‘interesting’.there were no facilities for making hot drinks of other and no cups or glasses. We asked for the latter bu none were delivered.
The layout of the room was bizarre with much wasted space due to strange avenues behind the partitioning of the room.

Very pleasant cottage, very clean, very welcoming staff all in a very pleasant environment. We really enjoyed this discovery stay which includes the night, the meal (excluding drinks) and breakfast. Very good quality of meal. It’s a shame that we can’t come there more often to recharge our batteries.

Please note that on Monday and Tuesday, there is no menu at the restaurant. You might as well take the evening stopover otherwise you pay more while no choice on the starter and dessert (not even fruit or yogurt).

More and more often we encounter ''cash drawer'' mentalities, namely: it doesn't matter if customers are not well served as long as it pays off.... Here, this is not the case, the legitimate satisfaction of customer seems priority. You are missing something, you need information, you ask and presto it's done....

Quality establishment located on the edge of the forest which is charming. The welcome is super friendly and professional. The restaurant is also very well made and original. I recommend and will come back on my next visits to the Nantes region.

Quality meal but a little expensive for the starter and the wines, disappointed with the plate of cheese with very, very thin slices...

The cottages lack nothing and the comfort of the beds is very appreciable. They are perhaps missing a small swing or slide for the children but otherwise nothing to complain about

Half board offers are not offered, conclusion: the overall price at the end of the stay is higher than the offer displayed. We found this a shame...otherwise everything was perfect! We will come back.

je n'étais pas présent à ce séjour, j'avais réservé pour mes cousin et cousine pour une cérémonie de funérailles d'1 de leur parent à quelques années d'intervalle.
La première fois, j'étais venu accompagner mes cousin et cousine et l'on avait gardé un bon souvenir ( puisque c'était en période de COVID ) de l'accueil qui nous avait été réservé; Cette fois ci je n'ai pu me déplacer mais ils m'ont fait part de leur entière satisfaction de leur court séjour, 1 soirée, 1 matinée, merci à votre équipe et bonne continuation.

Disappointed to have to leave the room before 10 a.m. (noted 11 a.m. on the site) We had to remove the sheets and sweep the broom before leaving because a cottage is considered a rental not explained on the site....

This was a fantastic overnight stay for our family, the staff were so welcoming and friendly! My only disappointment was that our babies were too young to stay up so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful restaurant- but we will certainly be back to try!

Amazing modern cottages. We absolutely loved our stay. We loved the design of the cottage and it was really nice to have 2 bathrooms. The outside space is great and we liked how each cottage had its own privacy. The pool is amazing - so modern and so clean.
The car park is great - lots of space, secure and very close to the cottages.
The staff were amazing. So helpful and so quick to respond to any issues. They can also speak great English. The checking in and checking out process was very smooth.
The location is great - next to the Gavre forest and only 50 mins to the beautiful beach.
There is an amazing bakery 10mins away which we went to everyday as well as a massive supermarket.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay - I would highly recommend staying here.

Je répond pour la petite maison individuelle avec 2 chambres et 2 salles d'eau très bien, mais la cuisinette un peu trop exigüe et ustensiles trop petits pour un séjour de 15 jours et pour 4 personnes.( mais surtout pas pour 6) Pour la piscine couverte au top, nous avons pu en profiter tous les jours ainsi que les balades en foret. Nous avons apprécier le calme et le respect des résidents. A recommander
