We were greeted warmly on arrival and informed our room had been upgraded at no charge. This room was exceptional! We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a delicious meal with impeccable service. Not cheap but it IS Michelin star.

I took the option of a stopover with a meal, there are a few very small drawbacks: It is announced that a pitcher of wine is included when booking, it is in fact a (small) glass of wine. I was not offered an aperitif, I had to ask for it, nor how I wanted my beef cooked. I suppose that the service is a little less attentive for a stopover meal, but everything was very good, quality, and the service is great apart from that. On the hotel side, you can hear the noise of the pipes (especially early in the morning), which must be due to an aging building, but it doesn't show, the decor is great, and the hot drinks area is a real plus. In addition, I was upgraded to a comfort room! The breakfast with a view was perfect. In short, I recommend it!

We had booked the hotel suite which is very well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the magnificent terrace as the door was blocked. The management tried in vain to remedy this shortcoming and made a commercial gesture that we appreciated. The New Year's Eve dinner was incredible and the staff always so efficient and attentive.

It was a gift with a cassoulet tasting menu, cocktail and overnight stay on site. I regret that at the time of the aperitif the waiter did not advise us to take the cocktail included in the package! Hello, comfortable hotel, and very well kept. However, offering a calf's head as a main course in the evening seems very risky to me. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Everything was very good, we would come back. Room ready from noon instead of 3 p.m., pleasant welcome, nice meal with good products, all on the terrace with beautiful weather. Perfect.

Just one "nuanced" remark: it is surprising that all the rooms are on the first floor, not served by a lift but by a rather steep staircase, with a swing door at the top of the flight of stairs, which makes access to the landing difficult.

We were looking for a stopover near Castelnaudary and the Michelin guide and the Auberge du Weight Public in Saint Félix de Lauragais were suggested. Anne greets us very kindly on the phone and despite being 1h30 late than the planned time, we are awaited with great care. The dinner prepared by Céline Taffarello and her brigade (foie gras, milk-fed veal, exotic dessert for one and gourmet salad, Cassoulet, tarte tatin Revisited) was a treat and the wine... a Cabardès. The room is beautiful and the service attentive. The room was very nice of course. A stop not to be missed!

We would probably never have set foot in this charming little village of St Félix without being attracted by a now famous cassoulet! The dish was again above our expectations! We are a little hesitant to give such a rave review for fear of finding an available room as often, but too bad: it is so well deserved. It was one of the best evenings we had in a long time: the fine and balanced meal was a delight, accompanied by a delicious mineral wine recommended by the very professional and competent maître d. This was our second stay at your establishment. Regarding the hotel everything was perfect…. We stayed in the suite (very pleasant) then in room 3, the heating did not work but the manager provided us with additional heating, problem solved, only downside the TV is fixed to the wall and does not turn , not pleasant when you are on the bed. Last night in a comfort room €75 on the site, billed €110!! The restaurant: very good quality products but a very rich menu, we would have appreciated a choice of lighter dishes (soup, salad, etc.) we would have had lunch or dinner there more often. When I say very rich card….. also a little expensive!!

We spent one night at the inn, eating the same evening at the restaurant which is simply excellent and good value for money. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 p.m. as planned. I just ordered a cassoulet and was served at 8:30 p.m. even though at that time there were only three tables occupied.

For the hotel and breakfast everything is ok only downside is the stained common carpet. For the restaurant, the maître d’ masterfully directs his entire team to serve us traditional and gourmet cuisine mastered to perfection with a real cheese platter. The lobster cassoulet is delicious and shows that we can also innovate with a traditional kitchen. Overall, the quality of the products served (foie gras, poultry, soufflé cheeses for dessert) are exceptional. The wine list is quite impressive! Finally, this restaurant is in direct competition with certain starred restaurants but with Le Pois Public we remain on the fundamentals and we are therefore sure to never be disappointed. VR.

Beautiful hotel on a privileged site, terrace with exceptional view. Perfect welcome and service, we regret not having had time to discover the restaurant. a coffee point on the entire floor, a well-equipped bedroom (Comfort n°2): electric blinds on the windows, air conditioning, refrigerator, WC separate from the bathroom with hand basin. Cons: a slightly dated decor of the bathrooms, the bathroom is quite cramped and it would be desirable to have at least one guest towel for hand washing, a rail but no dressing room door but especially a not very positive experience of breakfast. Arrived at 9:15 a.m., no more pastries, the waiter reacted very quickly to find some for us. Despite this, the offer and the products offered are, in our opinion, below the level of a Logis de France where we expect more "homemade" or local products and choice.

The room is large, clean and comfortable. The duck dish for dinner is very delicious. There is a shared refrigerator and coffee corner, which is very convenient. The staff are also kind.

Excellent stopover. An inn that has kept its authenticity with modern services. Very warm welcome by a smiling and very pleasant hostess. Superb view from the very spacious suite. A divine cassoulet. Excellent Grand Marnier soufflé. There are still quality, charming establishments left.

Very good experience, shame about the restaurant which was closed. Next time, I hope.

Very nice place, great welcome, very beautiful and comfortable room. The restaurant is excellent and the wait staff is friendly, a little nod to the man at lunch: you are exceptional! We recommend with your eyes closed.

Everything is very good! We would have just wanted to have breakfast on the terrace with the lovely view but we were told that it was impossible. A little disappointment otherwise everything was perfect

I had known this establishment for over 35 years but had not had the opportunity to return. I was not disappointed... Still just as good, and the cassoulet well deserves its reputation as the best cassoulet in France. I wouldn't wait 35 years to come back....

Having not been here for a long time, nothing has changed, everything is perfect and the table included, the succession is ensured as it should be in this family and professional establishment. Well done the whole team

Beautiful spacious room. Comfortable sleeping. Impeccable cleanliness. Calm. The best breakfast we have ever eaten in a hotel: small buffet but high quality (ultra fresh brioche, homemade jams, croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice….). Excellent restaurant in the hotel. And all crowned with people who are passionate about their profession, according to the spontaneous welcome they give to their customers. A small downside for the restaurant chairs which lack a little comfort 😃 Thanks to the whole team and well done.

Good hotel with very good family welcome

Pleasant hotel on the heights of Saint Félix Lauragais with a panoramic view from the restaurant. Large original room under a rotunda with a small associated independent courtyard, excellent bedding for a peaceful and restorative sleep. Quality restaurant with impeccable service and a wide choice of dishes. I almost regretted not liking the cassoulet which seems to be a reference and which looked really appetizing (and copious) for fans. As an alternative, excellent place in a herb crust and soufflé. Buffet breakfast with soft pastries, oranges to squeeze, fresh fruit while enjoying the view. Beautiful stopover in the heart of Lauragais for a pleasant evening and night.

Perfect! Only downside: the air conditioning. This is not adjustable from the room!!! Result: very bad first night due to the heat. Problem partially solved after complaint at reception... drop in temperature still insufficient for my taste the second night.

A staff very available, considerate and attentive. A most pleasant table. Spacious and very comfortable rooms. A gargantuan breakfast facing the valley with excellent homemade jams. In short, faultless. And all in a very pretty village. Make the detour you will only be satisfied.

Perfect welcome, attentive staff. Catering faithful to the reputation of the establishment. Cassoulet St Felicien at the height of the 2012 gold medal. Clean hotel room, perfect bedding but lacks a fridge with a few drinks to choose from and not just a bottle of water. The bedroom is not air-conditioned only the small living room. Also missing a small safe in the closet and a box of Kleenex in the bathroom. The setting of La Terrasse du restaurant is idyllic but honestly deserves a real boost of freshness.
