Excellent experience, we will definitely return on our next visit to the region.
Lovely evening stopover in this accommodation in the heart of Anjou with a warm welcome
Very friendly host and super nice breakfast.
Quiet hotel with plenty of space, in a tourist village. Large living room and kitchen available to the rooms.
Calm and privacy. This house of character has an ideal environment to recharge your batteries. The breakfast is varied and of quality. We appreciated it.
Very nice hotel, tastefully decorated room, well located and a warm welcome. Small downside, lack of lighting at night in the parking lot.
We had rented two rooms for a wedding, one for my in-laws and one for us. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The only downside for ours is that it is partly attic and when you are 1M90 it can be complicated. Otherwise perfect welcome and copious and very good breakfast.
Great place to stay. We were there just overnight so did not get a chance to explore the grounds and facilities
A very pretty Petite Château in a picturesque village. Lovely gardens with ample parking quite close to the accommodation. A warm friendly welcome by the owner and we were shown to our rooms. Both rooms were spacious, bright and airy. As we were traveling with friends and had quite a busy schedule, it was great to find that there was a large salon on the same floor as our rooms. A lovely room, in keeping with the age of the château and the 'Wine Cave' theme, the comfy seating with coffee tables made the ideal setting for our evenings. The fully equipped guest kitchen enabled us to chill our wine, cheese and snacks. After busy days sight seeing, the perfect place to sit, relax and recount our adventures. Being able to purchase excellent wine and local produce from the shop on site was an added advantage.
Fantastic experience in an interesting and relaxing location
Always a very good experience, the hotel is good for both tourism and business. Rooms are very characteristic, clean, and confortable. Very good breakfast and efficient wifi. Free parking inside. Le Puy-Notre-Dame is a charmy village in the middle of the vineyards.
One night stay in this well located, quiet hotel. The welcome was very pleasant and good advice. The room is pretty and well appointed and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel setting is very well maintained. A good stay, I recommend!
Comfortable hotel in a character house with garden and parking. Pleasant and spacious rooms. Breakfast with local and quality products but lacking hot dishes (eggs, omelettes, etc.) but non-functional Wifi in the room. Welcome that deserves more empathy.
Very pleasant stay in a calm and relaxing environment. The breakfast was perfect and very plentiful. Thank you to the owner of the place for his warm welcome.
Very quiet hotel, good bedding and very good breakfast!
Very good value for money. The setting is really nice: calm, green, authentic,... The rooms are spacious (including the bathroom, where there is space to put your things!) and well soundproofed. There is a large relaxation lounge and a collective kitchen (with fridge) for those who want to take advantage of the beautiful building that welcomes us. The breakfast is classic but generous and with good quality products. The welcome is also friendly. We will go back!
While passing through the region, we spent one night in a spacious, clean and comfortable triple room, very quiet. We recommend the establishment.
The first photo was of a small manor and we learned upon arrival that this is not where the hotel is located!! Slightly embellished advertising! We found the hotel very disappointing and expensive for this type of standard.
Sir,
We don't thank you for your comment, because everything you tell yourself is lies.
Regarding the advertising, there is nothing embellished, because it is clearly stated on all the sites that you are sleeping in a former Wine Cellar, dependent on a wine property. The Hotel is actually called Chai de le Paleine, and not Château de la Paleine. It is not enough to look at the images, you also have to read the texts.
Concerning the standing and the rate applied, you just forgot to specify that you rented a room for 4 people and not for 2 people, equipped with a kitchen. Indeed for 2 people it remains large, especially since you only spent a few hours there, because you initially preferred to choose the practical side rather than the price , because let's remember that you had initially come for a Wedding on the other side of the street, and appreciated the fact of not taking the car again.
Finally, tastes and colors cannot be discussed, but fortunately for us this type of appreciation remains non-existent, and the majority of our customers really appreciate our establishment.
Finally, we would have appreciated you telling us about your disappointment directly, rather than waiting to be behind your computer Mr. BERTREUX, but that's another debate...... :-)
Very nice experience, friendly atmosphere. The mix of old and new is very successful. To redo
Accueil chaleureux, sympa le coin cuisine et salon
Very nice establishment, very neat and unusual rooms, top service, very friendly owner, I recommend this quiet establishment
Icy welcome: wait outside are the receptionist's first words!!
a quiet stop in a town that is interesting on all levels: historical etc.... The breakfast is really great!
very pleasant stay, the owners of the establishment are available and attentive. Hotel very well located and very quiet, relaxing. Nothing to say, everything was perfect.
Very good domain
Passing through for one night, the result met our expectations. The comfort and cleanliness of the room: nothing to complain about. The breakfast could be a bit more varied. Small downside to the service (cautious and uncourteous attitude when my wife asked for another plate)
everything was perfect

Traveling for a sports competition in the neighboring department, we stayed as a family of 4. The place to stay is pleasant, the outside environment is calm and pleasant: old stones which present a lot of charm in a small town of character which would be worth visiting if it was a longer stay. We are generally satisfied with the night spent: the cleanliness of the premises is to be emphasized, the breakfast varied and copious. The parking of the vehicles is secure during the night, which is reassuring. The movement of the occupants on the upper floor is noisy and the showers taken by these same occupants of the floor, interminable! (Are we alone in worrying about the use of water?) This point is disappointing but when it comes to individual behavior and disrespect, unfortunately, few levers can be taken! I am however quite dismayed by the tone adopted by the person in charge of welcoming: directive, bordering on the unpleasant with not instructions, but almost orders! You have "the list of restaurants that you just need to take a photo of", "the code to leave and come back is ..., but finally write it down on your phone, no but ... Write it down!!" with an inappropriate insistence (We must have looked like brainless people with my 18 year old son!). The final meanness with the deduction of a 15 euro loyalty voucher on the total value of the stay ... which was not credited to the loyalty account! Quite simply astonishing. Regarding the Easter weekend, we looked for a restaurant for dinner a few kilometers away in a neighboring town, in Doué La Fontaine and found another Logis Hotel, offering accommodation and catering: this is definitely where we will return. We usually stay several times a year in the Logis Hotel network and it is rare to leave with this unpleasant feeling of not being welcome! It's a shame because the place is wonderful and deserves to be discovered.
