Charming establishment but decor a little dated, except for the very modern bathroom. Very good food. It's a shame that the price of breakfast displayed in the room is not the same as the one charged, the only downside to this stay.

SECOND VISIT IN 1 YEAR'S TIME, anytime again - the kitchen of Miss Vuillemin is highly to be recommended !
I find breakfast expensive. It has increased by 3 euros in less than a year without having changed anything. For this price, you could have fresh orange juice and a hot drinks machine. The evening meal is good, nothing special. The hotel is quiet, which is a plus.
Impeccable in every way: quality of catering: regional specialties and very good. Impeccable cleanliness of the establishment, quality of welcome with calm of the environment.
Stopover not far from Chablis in an interesting building (that of the bailly of ligny sur chatel?) Beautiful room, quite large and nicely furnished, quiet and pleasant. Bathroom however cramped (less than 3 m2 I think). On the hotel side, basic and laconic welcome, decent but expensive cuisine and the bread at breakfast quite good. (nothing extraordinary on this side) We were surprised to discover on the one hand in the room a detailed environmental charter, giving pride of place to respect for the environment but practically no short circuit or organic products at breakfast (only 2 were organic). There was also no organic wine, HVE, or other on the menu. The person in charge of the service further surprised us by indicating that, a) it was of no interest to them b) that it was better to drink a conventional wine of good quality rather than an organic one that would not be good. Unbeatable! (I did however specify that it could happen to find good wines in organic ). The subject here was rather to question the massive doses of phytosanitary products that pollute the soil and water (and us too ..) and it seemed to us to be out of step with what is presented on the charter. In this case the conventional wine that was recommended to me, a Chablis at 45 euros was absolutely of no interest. Finally we left the hotel with the persistent feeling that the place is not (at all) gay friendly ... but it is only an impression. To quote Guitry, "the first impression is often the right one, especially if it is bad". This is indeed the case.

We enjoyed staying here again but didn't think the dinner was quite as good as previous visits, especially as the menu is quite expensive. We still enjoyed the meal though and will probably stay here again.

Chosen because of its location on the way back from vacation, this hotel turned out to be a very good choice. Very quiet to rest, it also offers a very high quality catering option. We had a wonderful dinner.
Very warm welcome from the start and quiet room in a peaceful village. The room had a new bathroom, very functional, as well as water and coffee available to customers. The best was the restaurant with a good price-quality ratio, perhaps a little expensive for wines, but I don't have enough wine knowledge to say that. Lunch was varied and had regional products. The service in the restaurant was top quality and the atmosphere was calm and without music, phew. I would go back just for fun.

Wir waren zum 4. Bad yesterday. Das Zimmer, das Abendessen im Restaurant, das Frühstücksbüffet waren wie immer sehr gut. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei derückkehr aus dem Urlaub genossen. Although friendly and sympathetic Gastgeber, some of them have a long-term attitude and are happy to have a good time. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Charming and comfortable hotel.
What an amazing find! We had a fabulous 2 night stay here. We received a very warm welcome. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and great en suite shower room. Breakfast was really good value with a wide choice of food on offer. The restaurant food was excellent. Good choice of dishes, really well prepared, cooked and presented, using produce from local suppliers. Super value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant.
Room No. 2 is very large with a beautiful beamed ceiling. Good bed, modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Restaurant with delicious menus. Extensive breakfast buffet.

The contact with all the staff members was pleasant. The room was fine, not very big but adequate for one night. The restaurant was very good, the dishes were perfectly executed, the cooking just right. The overall quality/price ratio may be a little high because the establishment is located in a charming, quieter but little renowned village. The amount of breakfast is rather high (15.5€). Promiscuity with the village of Chablis may explain this.
Highly recommend...and would return. I had requested a room with a queen bed. However although Booking confirmed my request. I got a twin room. However, the quality of this excellent provincial hotel quickly made me forget this inconvenience. Large room tastefully furnished. Lots of details that make life easier, comfortable armchairs, large round table and desk covered with glass, so perfectly clean and without indelible marks. A large modern bathroom, and equipped with all the necessary fittings, full-length mirror, storage spaces, hooks, very easy to use heated towel rail... Excellent breakfast and accommodating hotelier on schedules. And finally an excellent restaurant with good local products. What more ?...
