Very warm and friendly welcome, people who take great care of their customers. Work is underway in the common areas which is not disruptive, the result will be, given what has already been done, undoubtedly very beautiful! Good bedding, bathroom a little dated but everything is spotlessly clean. I just prefer a shower to a bathtub but a matter of personal taste I think. All for a controlled budget.

The hotel is a building site. No wifi, no TV, heating in one room was roasting, but the other wouldn’t work. Rooms were very poor

Your room was not affected by the work in progress, and our team was available throughout the evening to respond to your needs. We would have been delighted to assist you if you had requested our help, particularly with the heating settings.
Also, we were flexible in allowing you to use our new breakfast room for your dinner. Unfortunately, this resulted in material damage that forced us to incur professional cleaning costs on our chairs. We did not charge you for this.
We place great importance on the comfort of our guests and do our utmost to provide the best possible experience. We hope that you will understand our point of view and that we will have the opportunity to welcome you in better conditions in the future. Very warm welcome. Hotel under renovation. Spacious and quiet rooms. Excellent value for money
Disappointed because when we arrived, we were told that we would be in a room with 2 single beds even though we were a couple.😡 Another disappointment: Very, very old-fashioned decoration. Hotel currently under renovation so not in line with the photos on the Internet ☹️. Very comfortable room but in the bathroom 2 out of 3 lights worked. Sink faucet that did not leak strongly ☹️. On the other hand, top-notch bedding that allowed us to sleep well and rest.😁 We also had a view of the garden and the vineyards. That was really nice.🤪 The limited breakfast could therefore be improved for a 4-star hotel: no eggs, small samples of Lion brand cereals, lack of variety in fruit, no dried fruit and unsweetened plain cereals. We are used to going to 4 star hotels and for now it is more like a 3 star.☹️ The positive side is the welcome from the receptionist who welcomed us well and was also very smiling. And also when we left, we were offered breakfast to apologize for putting us in a room with 2 single beds. We appreciated the gesture.🥰 However, we still want to come back next year once the hotel is renovated because it has a lot of potential. In conclusion: In order to enjoy this hotel with complete peace of mind, it is better to wait until the end of the renovation to avoid being disappointed Beatrix T

Very disappointed because the website shows bedrooms with charming decor, so at 117€ I thought I had chosen one of those. The owner laughed when I explained my disappointment saying this was totally normal. It turned out I had apparently not only booked an expensive room on the noisy roadside of the hotel but also under the rafters where it was stiflingly hot - because there was no Air conditioning or Ventilation fan in the Entire hotel, 'normal' I was told . I was then cajoled into paying more for a room on the garden side, which turned out to be without any character or decor at all and looked out onto a patchy and flowerless garden. Feeling tired after my journey and wanting a cup of tea I asked the owner where the kettle and sachets of tea/coffee were? She told me her hotel didn't have this in the bedrooms but upon seeing my face she corrected this and told me she would go fetch the necessary. When she returned with an ostentatious silver platter and the necessary, she again insisted that other hotels did not have this service - even though I told her I had stayed in 4 other establishments and they all had this service. But my experience with this hotel was not over because the cord on the kettle was so short, I could not fill my cup. I had to put the cup on the floor in order to pour from the kettle. This is not a 4-Star hotel and should be re-evaluated down to a 2-star hotel. The bed was adequate, at least it was not lumpy but I had to unplug the bedside lamp because it kept going on and off. The bathroom had a large ant crawling up the wall and the tubes of soap and shampoo had almost run out.

We used the family room. Shower was in the bathtub without a wall, hence al loy of 'spray' in the bathroom.
Airconditioning isn't available so in summer this will be an issue.
