The Alizés hotel being closed despite my reservation, we were accommodated with an upgrade at the Marbella hotel, right next door.

We stayed one night. The welcome at reception was very good. The spacious room was well decorated and clean. The bedding was very comfortable. We had a good stay. Quaint hotel in a great central location for both the city and the beach. The hotel is getting old and urgently needs renovation to make it look as it should. The price-performance ratio is not good - there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Small hotel very well located in the lively center of Biarritz (pedestrian street) I had booked a room for 1 traveler which was not that small but pretty and very clean! The welcome is personalized with some advice for visiting the city. The soundproofing between the rooms is not the best but it remains a great value for money! I recommend

The staff were helpful and the room clean and comfortable. Parking is a nightmare and the hotel needs to inform clients of this before booking and negotiate cheaper parking with the nearby underground car park. It also needs to give clear directions as the one-way system is challenging.
We just missed a parking space for the safety of the vehicle during the night, the hotel is located in a pedestrian street, access is on foot and the surrounding spaces are chargeable, the staff is very pleasant and attentive to your needs. on site or by telephone to respond to your requests. We will come back with pleasure.

A very warm welcome, a varied and hearty breakfast, parking nearby. Clean room. Only the mini elevator leaves something to be desired because a single person and a single suitcase already take up all the space!
First of all I booked 1 night through Booking then I wanted to book 1 second but it didn't work. The receptionist or the owner of the Alizés hotel, I don't know, she didn't introduce herself, encouraged me to book the night in question remotely because as she told me "I don't know if I can guarantee you a place on the day you are with us, it is better to book in advance.” I listened to her. I had no choice but to book with zero cancellations and zero changes. I paid and thought I had done 1 good thing. The problem is that 3 days later my car broke down and to rent 1 vehicle from Haute Savoie to the Basque country, it would have cost me 1000 euros minimum. I therefore canceled my vacation and my trip to the Basque country, losing my money already collected. I called the lady, receptionist or owner of the Alizés hotel, to explain my situation to her and obviously she didn't want to hear anything, on the other hand she told me “it's not my fault”…. I'll remember it .

El coche no se puede dejar cerca del hotel y tampoco dieron posibilidades de parking gratuito en exceso..
The hotel is very good for 1 or 2 nights, the only downside is that as there is no shutter and only curtains it is difficult to sleep because it is broad daylight in the room..

the positive points: very pleasant welcome and staff, cleanliness of the premises proximity to the sea: very appreciable negative points: very small room, old, no real wardrobe but a shelf on the wall which serves as a wardrobe, shower which leaks through the doors and which deserves to be changed, no shutters so terrible heat in the evening knowing that it is in full sun in the afternoon. on the other hand the price is affordable!
We enjoyed our stay
Decent hotel, however getting there is almost an obstacle course when you don't know the city or the hotel. Impossible by car (with luggage), directions prohibited everywhere with barriers and pedestrian streets.
A small, old hotel but rather clean. There is some mold in the shower but the rest was clean and maintained. The lovely reception lady. Only problem is that we had no TV channels so it was not easy to occupy the evening before bedtime. A bit expensive as breakfast not included but the location by the sea is just amazing, everything is nearby. However, we had to turn around 10 times to find a place to park.

Awful. When I book booking the hotel at booking.com it say I could cancel booking within 3 day but after booking it said the stay was not refundable. Also on booking.com it says that the hotel has parking. It is a lie. There is not parking provided by the hotel, you have to pay for city parking. Also, since the city has a limited access by car, we had to park very far and walk for 15 minutes with two little tired children and luggage at 23.00 at night. Also wifi didn’t work and it was very hot inside
This was both great and not great. Fantastic location! Right in the heart of the old town and a short walk to all 3 beaches! Lots of restaurants and shops. I was lucky enough to have the courtyard, I imagine the street with all the restaurants can be quite noisy. It seems it is part o the hotel next door, or they share front desk coverage. The room really could use the removal of an old carpet, a painting, and a mattress without a huge dip in the middle! I would also suggest doors on the shower so as to not flood the whole bathroom. Other than a refresh, the hotel was quaint and perfect for a solo traveler.
We chose this hotel because it was cheap and we were able to take the dog with us. We actually had 3 beds instead of 2 so that was a nice surprise. The bathroom is old and there is mold. But besides that it is a nice lovely hotel in a good location near the beach. The hotel does not have parking but if you are patient enough you‘ll get free parking around the corner from 7pm - 11am. Overall great for what we needed.

Pre-arrival deplorable customer service. Tried to change my booking by a day (day with lots of availability). Request denied. I didn't want to stay in a hotel of this type, so I stayed in a lovely hotel, HOTEL OXO on the corner, which was perfect.

The hotel is very well located, the varied breakfast and the room big enough for 3 people with enough storage for a long weekend. But noisy hotel because of the doors slamming really hard, the walls are dirty. The bedroom is separated from the bathroom by a plastic accordion which is broken and impossible to close. The shower is disgusting, filled with mold, the smell of which invades the room as soon as the windows are closed. A single receptionist who has to deal with this hotel and the one next door where breakfast is also served. Hotel that deserves real work and not hiding misery like in our room, given the rates charged!

Unfortunately, there was no soundproofing. We had a group of young people next to our room last night, making it impossible to sleep. A nightmare. We would have appreciated a small gesture upon our departure, given the discomfort and the need to call the emergency number during the night.
